Greenville Superintendent of Schools

The Mississippi School Boards Association is currently conducting the Superintendent Search for the Greenville Public School District.   

The Greenville Public School District is seeking an innovative and data-driven educational leader who has a proven record of raising student achievement, who has current, hands-on experience with the Mississippi accountability system, and who has demonstrated the ability to develop positive relationships with all stakeholder groups. 

The Greenville School Board requires that applicants meet the following criteria:

• Must have served as an Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent within the past five years with prior successful experience as a principal in a school and district with a "C" accountability rating or above. 
• Must have evidence of a recent documented track record of raising the achievement level of all students in a school or district.

Only applicants who meet the criteria and qualifications listed in the position announcement will be considered for the position.  The successful candidate will assume leadership on or before July 1, 2022.
